Hello, my name is Pink . My animal id is #57144. I am a desexed female red brown dog at the . The shelter thinks I am about 3 years 2 weeks old.

Someone has already placed a deposit on me. I'm no longer available.

Pink is at risk for behavioral reasons. Pink has not adjusted well to the care center and has shown sensitivity to touch and handling and has remained fearful. Pink would be best suited for an experienced adopter that can provide a low stress environment as well as gradual behavior modification and reward based training. Medically, Pink has a skin condition which may need follow up vet care.

Potential challenges: : Handling/touch sensitivity,Fearful/potential for defensive aggression

Potential challenges comments:: Pink has displayed some sensitivity to handling, especially when attempting to collar her. At the beginning of her stay, she head flipped and growled when this was done. She will need slow, gentle handling paired with treats to teach her to be more comfortable with this. Please see handout on Handling Sensitivity. Pink has been fearful at the care center and has barked and growled at handlers, especially at the beginning of her stay. She has since warmed up to staff members and new people. Please see handout on Fearful/potential for defensive aggression.
