Benny

Hello, my name is Benny. My animal id is #54276. I am a desexed male brown brindle dog at the . The shelter thinks I am about 7 years 1 weeks old.

I came into the shelter as a stray on 2/6/2019.

Someone has already placed a deposit on me. I'm no longer available.

Benny is at risk for medical reasons. Benny was diagnosed with canine infectious respiratory disease complex which is contagious to other animals and will require in home care. Benny also has a heart murmur which is recommended for follow up vet care. Behaviorally, Benny has shown to be of medium energy, and may do best in a single dog home.

Let's get to know each other a bit more...

A volunteer writes: Benny is beautiful inside and out! Smart, sweet and just a teeny bit sassy, Benny is a wonderfully friendly 'people dog' whose smile could light up a whole house full of rooms. He's an energetic guy for his age and still likes fetching and tossing toys around but he's happy to share and once they're chewed into submission he'll nibble treats softly right from your hand. A smart cookie who listens well, comes and sits on command and seems to be toilet trained too, Benny is practically perfect but he will need a brush up on leash walking manners because as much as he adores us humans, he's not so keen on fellow dogs. A harness for walking and a life as your only four-legged baby (with slow introductions to compatible friends) would be his perfect setting. This handsome gent's fan club is huge but there are only so many folks here at the Care Center and Benny was made to shine further and wider. Help him fulfill his superstar destiny by stepping up to offer our good boy the loving, committed forever home (and maybe Instagram account?) he deserves.
