Hero

Hello, my name is Hero . My animal id is #52357. I am a male black brindle dog at the . The shelter thinks I am about 1 years 1 weeks old.

I came into the shelter as a stray on 1/11/2019.

Someone has already placed a deposit on me. I'm no longer available.

Hero is at risk for medical reasons. Hero was diagnosed with canine infectious respiratory disease complex which is contagious to other animals and will require in home care. Behaviorally, Hero is an enthusiastic young dog who will require regular physical and mental stimulation.

Let's get to know each other a bit more...

Hero is worth his weight in gold! A friendly boy with million dollar leash manners and a smile to make Tongue-out Tuesday last all week, he's extremely easy to handle and more handsome than any photo could capture. Hero enjoys back massages and meeting fellow dogs, but his true calling is as a doggie detective and he always seems to be working on a case! Never happier than snuffling his way down the street or through the park, he'll stop every so often to take care of business and 'check in' with his walker, then quickly put his super sniffer back to work. Hero passes pedestrians of all ages and dogs of all sizes with ease. He's totally cool (or should I say warm?) with being dressed in a winter coat for his stroll and photo shoot. Low-key, social and independent, this gorgeous hunk would fit into any active home with ease. You could be the hero that he's been waiting for, ask to meet him at our Manhattan Care Center today!
