Hello, my name is Blue. My animal id is #15557. I am a desexed female black cat at the . The shelter thinks I am about 2 years 2 weeks old.

I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 12/6/2017, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- moving - no pets allowed.

Blue is at risk for medical reasons, having been diagnosed with upper Respiratory Infection, which is contagious to other cats. Behaviorally, we have no concerns for Blue, whom we believe is suitable even for beginner cat homes.

Pre-surgical exam, anesthesia, and surgery performed by ASPCA. Green linear tattoo placed lateral to incision. Start 0.39 cc simbadol 1.8 mg/ml sid x 3 days and 0.30 cc Robenacoxib 20 mg/ml sid x 3 days as pain management.

Upon intake she allowed all handling. she allowed counselor to pet and collar. She allowed counselor to lift and place in a carrier. he has a healthy appetite for wet food.

Behavior Notes: She has no known behavior concerns. She meows during car rides, struggles during bath time, enjoys being brushed and isn't bothered with being picked up or being placed in a carrier.

Medical Notes: She has no known medical issues. She was last brought to the vet 1 year ago for vaccinations.

For a New Family to Know: She is described as friendly, affectionate, playful, confident, assertive, independent and talkative. She is described to enjoy music, will enjoy being around you, has been kept mostly indoors and was allowed to go outside a few times a week and ate friskies dry and wet food mixed 3-4 times a day. ENRICHMENT NOTES:: Curled up asleep in litter box, woke when door opened. Lay in place, soft eyes and body. Leaned into pets, extended neck for throat scratches, closed eyes. Came out to main compartment after door closed, rubbed against bars, ate offered treats.
