Hello, my name is Ladybug. My animal id is #11090. I am a desexed female calico cat at the . The shelter thinks I am about 8 months 2 weeks old.

I came into the shelter as a stray on 10/29/2017.

Someone has already placed a deposit on me. I'm no longer available.

Ladybug is at risk due to being diagnosed with an Upper Respiratory infection which is contagious to other cats. Ladybug will likely require in home care with a course of antibiotics. there are no known behavior concerns for Ladybug at this time (beginner determination).

Was moved into medical last night due to concerns of open mouth breathing S/O -BAR, affectionate -good appetite -mm pk, moist -soft sneezing, intermittent open mouth breathing due to nasal congestion -eupnic, lungs clear -soft abdomen A URI with nasal congestion P gave 0.25 ml cerenia SQ move to isolation doxycycline 0.4 ml PO SID x 10 days nebulize SID x 4 days

Pre-surgical exam, anesthesia, and surgery performed by ASPCA. Green linear tattoo placed lateral to incision. Start 0.57 cc simbadol 1.8 mg/ml sid x 3 days and 0.43 cc Robenacoxib 20 mg/ml sid x 3 days as pain management.

Behavior Condition: 1. Green

Upon intake, Lady bug allowed counselor to pick her up, collar, and place her on intake photo table. She allowed scanning and had a relaxed but aware body language. She walked into carrier on her own.

Basic Information:: Lady bug came in as a stray due to the owner becoming evicted. There is not much background on her so behavior is unknown.

How is this cat around strangers?: The super had ladybug in their apartment for overnight. She was friendly with the super and allowed him to pick her up.

How is this cat around dogs?: The cat was briefly around a small breed dog and was respectful with the dog.

KNOWN HISTORY:: Ladybug was brought in as a stray, so we don't have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. However, the finder she was friendly and allowed to be pick up. Also, the cat was briefly around a small breed dog and was respectful with the dog.

MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:: Observed Behavior - nice

ENRICHMENT NOTES:: Resting in litter box, soft eyes and body. Stood and came forward when door opened. Leaned and arched into pets, purred. Ate offered treats, then started to explore cage.

Cage Condition:: Cage is neat

Reaction to assessor:: Ladybug immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage.

Reaction when softly spoken to:: Ladybug remains soft in place.

Reaction to cage door opening:: Ladybug remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention.

Reaction to touch:: Ladybug head-butts the assessor's hand and appreciates petting on the head and body.

Reaction to being picked up:: Allows the pickup and remains calm.

ACTIVITY LEVEL:: Moderate

VOCAL:: Somewhat chatty
