KNOWN HISTORY:: Selma is a two year old black and white cat. His owner found him as a stray kitten around 2 years ago. He is being surrendered due to the owner not having somewhere to live. Selma has previously lived with 2 adults and 1 child. Selma is very friendly and loves to get attention from people. Selma has lives with a child, age 8, and is reportedly very friendly, relaxed, and tolerant. Selma has not lived with cats so his behavior is unknown. Selma has not lived with dogs so his behavior is unknown. Selma does scratch on clothed chairs but was not provided with a surface to scratch. Selma has not bitten a person or another animal. Selma is described as having a medium to high activity level. Selma has a cataract on his left eye. Selma is described as a friendly, affectionate, and playful cat. He loves to play around and sleep. He will greet the family by the door. He was an indoor/outdoor cat. Selma was fed Friskies wet and dry food. His favorite treat is vienna sausages. Selma was provided with both hooded and open litter box. The owner often changed types of litter and he did not mind. He was not given a scratching post or pad. During intake, Selma was a bit tense but allowed all handling during intake.
