Hello, my name is Midnight. My animal id is #50479. I am a desexed female black cat at the . The shelter thinks I am about 1 years 7 months old.

I came into the shelter as a returns on 12/29/2018.

Someone has already placed a deposit on me. I'm no longer available.

Midnight is at risk due to being diagnosed with an Upper Respiratory Infection and will likely require home rest and a series of antibiotics for up to 14 days. This is a contagious illness to other cats. Midnight is suitable to go Home with an Experienced cat adopter.

A volunteer writes: Where will you be at midnight on New Year's Eve? It would be fabulous to ring in 2019 with Midnight. This sweet young man already has his tuxedo, ready for the big party. Upon intake Midnight was curled up in the back of the carrier. When provided food she came out the carrier to eat. She got a little and try to flee. Counselor was able to get the collar on and limited handling was done.

Behavior Notes: Owner stated he was cleaning the litter box when Midnight sneaked up on him and attacked his hand scratching him. He stated he got the cat off of him and saw Midnight tail getting bigger, so he backed off and let the cat cool off.

Reaction to touch:: Midnight steps forward to greet the assessor, then leans in for petting while simultaneously lowering her body in an effort to avoid touch along her back. She walks through her portal with a raised tail, then steps back through towards the assessor and leans in for further petting, tail polo-erect along the base.
