Behaviorally, we suggest that Bam Bam would be best suited for an experienced home.

Let's get to know each other a bit more...

A volunteer writes: Bam Bam is a dreamboat. He is a 9 year dude who has the softest coat and the sweetest eyes. He takes treats gently from my hands and walks wonderfully on a leash. He loves taking a walk--there is so much to hear and see and smell! A few gentlemen stopped us to remark, "What a great looking dog!" But Bam Bam is more than good looks and good manners. He is a happy, friendly boy who loves spending time with his human friends and getting loved on. Bam Bam would love to be your new furry best friend--come down today and meet this wonderful boy! **UPDATE: This is the second time I had the pleasure of a walking date with Mr. Bam Bam. This boy is just the best and has put a paw print on my heart. He is a great walker and loves exploring every corner of the park. He made little crying noises whenever we took a break--he wanted to get moving again! There is so much to see and so many different people and dogs to meet! When we were done walking (well, to be honest, when I was done walking!) I sat on a bench, and Bam Bam leaned up against me to people-watch and to let me love on him. If you are looking for a gentle, loving boy who will also make a fantastic walking partner, Bam Bam is for you! Please come meet him today!

Potential challenges comments:: Anxiety: Bam Bam appears very anxious at the care center, whining, barking, and pacing. This behavior was not reported in his previous home, so we do not know if it will be present outside of the care center. If it does occur, we recommend giving him puzzle toys, long walks, and things to do to relieve his anxiety. Positive reinforcement, reward based training only should be used.
