Asap had a soft body and allowed neck rubs from counselor. He moved around a lot but allowed to be collared, photographed and placed in a kennel.

Basic Information:: Asap is a black, male cat that was surrendered by owner because he moved to a building with a no-pets policy. Owner got him as three week old kitten from his aunt and had him for four years. Asap has no visible sign of illness or injury.

How is this cat around strangers?: He is friendly and outgoing but would need a little bit of time to warm up to you.

How is this cat around dogs?: He is relaxed, affectionate and respectful around the dog he lived with at home. They always played like brother and sister and sometimes slept together.

Behavior Notes: He is generally well behaved and meows when placed in a carrier. He struggles and tries to run away when you give him baths. He enjoys his coat brushed and loves to be picked up and held. He isn't bothered if disturbed while asleep

For a New Family to Know: Asap is friendly, affectionate and playful. He loves to eat and lounge in a quiet corner all day and is very friendly with dogs. He follows you around at home and would be in the same room with you. He loves to play with balls, was kept indoors only and slept on the couch. He was fed both dry and wet dog food two to three times daily. He is house trained, used a hooded litter box with clumping cat litter and scratched on a cardboard scratch post.
