Your newly adopted pet has a URI and the staff veterinarians are issuing a TEMPORARY waiver from the spay/neuter requirements of the City of NY. Follow up care at your regular veterinarian is recommended to ensure continued treatment through to the resolution of the issue. At the time of a full recovery you may choose to have your veterinarian perform the spay/neuter surgery, or make provisions to return the pet to ACC for sterilization.

Recheck URI kitten, anorexia S/O: QAR, allows all handling, not eating, sneezing, no c/v/d noted EENT: Mild mucoserous nasal discharge, no ocular discharge LUNGS: Congestion audible, otherwise eupneic MSI: Amb x 4, underweight CNS: Appropriate mentation A: Anorexia URI Dehydration Dental disease Elevated BUN Elevated ALT Hyperbilirubinemia P: Continue SQ LRS, cerenia, doxycycline, medical feedings Okay to d/c fortiflora as not eating it Add entyce 3 mg/kg PO SID CTM closely and recheck tomorrow + recheck bw Seek placement ASAP. If anorexia persists, he will need e-tube.
