Animal Profile

Dee Dee

Hello, my name is Dee Dee. My animal id is #251158. I am a desexed female tri color cat at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 12 years old.

I came into the shelter as a agency on 4/3/2026.

Dee Dee is on the at-risk list for medical concerns. Dee Dee has been diagnosed with early renal disease. Behaviorally, Dee Dee is often head bunting and soliciting attention with handlers. She would highly benefit from continued direct care and monitoring that we cannot provide.

What my friends at ACC say about me: My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children. I can go home today! I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me. Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy! I am a sweet, social, older gal, looking for the perfect forever home! A volunteer writes: Everyone knows I love seniors and DeeDee is no exception. She is a 12 year-old beautiful girl both inside and out she was brought into us by the NYPD when she was found roaming around and her owner was unable to be located. Dee Dee is so incredibly loving and just wants to be pet and loved on. I can tell that she is just looking for a cozy couch with a sun puddle and a warm lap to spend her days. I can't continue to explain how perfect I think she is, how loving I think she is, and how lucky I think anyone would be to have her as a part of their family. Seniors have no place in a shelter so please open your heart and home to this angel.
