Wiggle
Hello, my name is Wiggle. My animal id is #223292. I am a desexed male gray tabby cat at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 3 years 2 weeks old.
I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 4/4/2025, with the surrender reason stated as not a fit - too many animals already.

Someone has already placed a deposit on me. I'm no longer available.
Wiggle has been added to at-risk list for medical issues. In his left ear canal, there is a small fleshy mass that is causing chronic ear infections. This mass may be a polyp or a cancerous growth. He needs care and attention that we cannot provide.

In his left ear canal, there is a small fleshy mass that is causing chronic ear infections. This mass may be a polyp or a cancerous growth. He needs care and attention that we cannot provide. A volunteer writes: I fell in love with Wiggle's intake photo..It looks like a stuffed toy cat I had as a kid and still have with me after sooo many years....Wiggle is part of a large family of cats, all surrendered into our care to find them a loving home. He is a young gent, all silver and white , with a mushy face that begs petting. He likes to stay on top of his kuranda bed but leans into pets and rolls on his side for more cuddling. He is very patient and thankful for the attention given to him. Wiggle is a brave kitty who likely is quite uncomfortable because of a right sided entropion and a chronic otitis externa(possibly caused by the fleshy mass inside his left ear). This is the very reason why sweet Wiggle needs your help... now and a visit to an outside veterinary clinic to care for his ailments. Wiggle is young, lovely, the cutest and has many great years ahead of him if he is to be given a chance. Please, consider him. I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me. Wiggle was inside his den, appearing fairly calm and sniffed treats, and then leaned in nicely for cheek rubs. He then exited the den and jumped up on top of it, where he accepted and enjoyed more petting, leaning in again for more cheek rubbing and raising his rear and his tail with lower back petting. Then he came off the top of the den and slowly went back inside it but quickly came out again for more petting. Then he went back on top of the den one more time, and when partial pressure was applied upward on his abdomen, he flopped over on his side during a partial pick up. He's a very sweet boy who may need a little time to warm up to his new home. Wiggle interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience.
