Potential challenges: : Handling/touch sensitivity,Fearful
Potential challenges comments:: Fearful/Handling/touch sensitivity: Peanut Butter is noted to become fearful of fast movement and will flinch and cower away. When touched his skin will ripple. Training should focus on slow, predictable movements and pairing gentle touch with high-value treats. Begin with consent-based handling, rewarding voluntary engagement, and gradually increase touch duration as Peanut Butter shows relaxed body language. Avoid sudden gestures and keep sessions brief to prevent stress escalation. Please see the handout on the Decompression period and handling/touch sensitivity.
