Pre-Screener Form

Maximus is on the at risk list due to behavior concerns in his previous home. Maximus has a multiple bite history including a reported bite to child and other resident dogs. The bite to child was noted to be a while ago and we were provided no information. Recently Maximus bit resident dog which didn't result in broken skin. In care, Maximus hasn't allowed handling and would benefit from getting one on one attention from an experienced handler. Medically, Maximus is apparently healthy.

Kennel presence: Maximus is noted to be lunging in kennel, growling.Training should prioritize distance-based reinforcement, reducing visual stimuli at the kennel front, and structured approaches to help him remain calmer when confined or approached.
