Based on blood work and radiographs, we suspect he is suffering from feline infectious peritonitis. He needs and internal medicine consultation with ultrasound and anti-viral therapy.

PARVO SNAP: NEGATIVE on intake Subjective: BAR Observed Behavior - Ate churo squeeze up when offered. Initially allowed petting but persistently resisted restraint for blood draw and started growling. Is there evidence of Cruelty? No Is there evidence of Neglect? No Is there evidence of Trauma? No Objective P = 160 R = WNL BCS 5/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted Oral Exam: Clean adult teeth PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NR, NMA, Lungs clear, eupneic ABD: Slightly distended cranial abdomen. Firm columnar thickening extending along left side of abdomen and then across midline caudal to ribs. U/G: Male intact MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: Mentation appropriate - no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: Distended rectum with maroon colored feces.
