I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 8/16/2025, with the surrender reason stated as animal health - cannot afford vet bill.

Oliver needs at risk placement for medical reasons. He is a sweet young cat with chronic bloody diarrhea and a thickened colon. Based on blood work and radiographs, we suspect he is suffering from feline infectious peritonitis. He needs and internal medicine consultation with ultrasound and anti-viral therapy.

PARVO SNAP: NEGATIVE on intake Subjective: BAR Observed Behavior - Ate churo squeeze up when offered. Initially allowed petting but persistently resisted restraint for blood draw and started growling. Is there evidence of Cruelty? No Is there evidence of Neglect? No Is there evidence of Trauma? No Objective P = 160 R = WNL BCS 5/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted Oral Exam: Clean adult teeth PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NR, NMA, Lungs clear, eupneic ABD: Slightly distended cranial abdomen. Firm columnar thickening extending along left side of abdomen and then across midline caudal to ribs.
