Ralph
Hello, my name is Ralph. My animal id is #223238. I am a desexed male black cat at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 12 years old.
I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 3/29/2025, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- moving - out of country.
Ralph is on the at-risk list for medical reasons. He has diabetes mellitus. He needs care and quiet environment in order to stabilize his diabetes mellitus. Behaviorally, Ralph has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate guy - he greets staff with vocals, head bunting, and leans in for cheek rubs. Ralph is easy to handle and will continue to flourish by continuing his care for diabetes mellitus outside of the shelter environment.

He tolerated being picked up and held and remained interactive once set back down. Ralph interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
