Parvo SNAP, negative Subjective: BAR Observed Behavior - curious on exam table, allows all handling for tasks and exam. Growls for blood draw but does not escalate. Is there evidence of suspected cruelty? No Objective: T = P = WNL R = WNL BCS: 3/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted Oral Exam: Adult dentition, mild tartar PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Externally WNL, intact male, 2 scrotal testes MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: Mentation appropriate - no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: Inflamed rectum, but otherwise externally WNL Wood's Lamp Exam: not performed Assessment: Underweight Intact male Diarrhea reported- r/o intestinal parasites vs. DI vs. other Prognosis: Good Plan: Intake tasks + exam Fortiflora 1 packet PO SID x10d Await sort Recheck diarrhea in a few days SURGERY: Ok for surgery

S/O: BAR, eating Abd: Segmental thickening of intestines palpated MSI: Anus and skin surrounding erythemic, wet, and mildly swollen (see picture in vet docs), leaking diarrhea, discomfort when holding up tail; thin Rectal: unable to perform, too painful even with sedation A: Anal erythema (raw) Chronic diarrhea r/o IBD vs allergies vs other P: Sedate with 0.2ml (0.5mg/ml) dexdorm, 0.2ml (10mg/ml) torb IM Antisedan 0.1ml Radiographs - thickened small intestines CBC/Chem Zorbium 1ml OPG HP diet Metronidazole: 0.5ml (125mg/ml) PO BID for 7 days

Appears to have eaten some food overnight eent: eyes clear, no ocular or nasal dc apparent h/l: eupneic, no coughing or sneezing appreciated msi: ambulatory x4 neuro: mentation alert and appropriate A: diarrhea P: collect stool sample for OPG and continue current treatment plan
