This pet needs emergency placement. Please click here to go to our emergency placement page for more information. Missy Marbles is on the at-risk list due to medical concerns. She has a fungal nasal infection and a poor appetite. She needs an internal medicine consultation and long-term management on an out-patient basis to help her clear this infection. A volunteer writes: Little Miss Marbles was found in the street by a good samaritan, kept home for a short while and brought to us because of a non healing sore on her nose. Miss Marbles is a sweetheart of a cat. She is a petite, overly thin middle aged kitty, a bit tired but so welcoming of her visitors. She is very trusting, quick to accept petting and even emits a soft purr I can feel under my fingers. I am happy to bring a little bit of love in her life, even for a few minutes. It is important to keep the patients' moral up. It  helps them to get better in addition to all the care provided by the vet team. Miss Marples' nasal lesions seem to be of fungal nature and she was started on medication for it. She needs nevertheless to get expert advice for a condition and a home sweet home  that will provide not only love but supportive care. Sweet Miss Marbles needs you and is waiting at the Manhattan Care Center for her lucky star to shine. What my friends at ACC say about me: My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children. I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me. I'm an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing. Please check here for updated adoption hours.
