When the handler gives him some extra enrichment, he spends some time eating that before sitting back down. He is later returned to his kennel with no issue. 10/07/26 (BA Note): Beans N Toast is standing at the front of his kennel and will allow the handler to leash him with ease. ENERGY LEVEL:: We have no history on Beans N Toast so we cannot be certain of his behavior in a home environment. However, he is a young, enthusiastic, social dog who will need daily mental and physical activity to keep him engaged and exercised. We recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and hide-and-seek games, in addition to physical exercise, to positively direct his energy and enthusiasm.

Potential challenges: : Fearful/potential for defensive aggression,Bite history (human)

Potential challenges comments:: Fearful/potential for defensive aggression: Beans N Toast is a bit fearful at the care center. He has been noted to startle easily with his tail tucked when a new person approaches him. It is important to always go slow and give Beans N Toast the option to walk away from any social interaction. Beans N Toast should never be forced to approach anything that he is uncomfortable with or to submit to petting or handling. It should always be Beans N Toast’s choice to approach a new person or thing. Beans N Toast would do best in an initially calm and quiet home environment and should be given time to acclimate to his new surroundings. Please see the handout on Fearful/potential for defensive aggression. Bite history (human):In the care center, Beans N Toast redirected onto a staff member while exiting the kennel room, delivering a quick bite-and-release to the thigh without an identifiable trigger.
