Muneca
Hello, my name is Muneca. My animal id is #263255. I am a female tabby cat at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 6 years 3 weeks old.
I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 9/13/2026, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance - owner elderly.
Muneca is on the at-risk list due to medical concerns. Muneca is a super friendly cat who was surrendered due to the owner unable to continue care for her. She is a mature adult cat with old hindlimb fractures. She may be prone to fractures in the future. On initial bloodwork, she has hypothyroidism. She needs follow up with repeat bloodwork. While in care she had a seizure, and has been stable while in care. Muneca will need daily maintenance with their medical conditions and further follow up with outside vet care. She has allowed all handling during her exams.
