What my friends at ACC say about me: I am a sweet, social, older gentleman, looking for the perfect forever home! I would do best in a home with only adult humans. I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some feline body language together!

Details on my behavior are...
Behavior Condition: 2. Blue
KNOWN HISTORY:: Jelly was brought in as a stray, there is no known information on his behavior history in a home environment.
ENRICHMENT NOTES:: 11/22/25 FB06 Jelly was laying in a loaf making biscuits and purring at the front of the kennel. As I opened the door, he rubs his head on my hand soliciting attention. Jelly allows for all petting head to tail as he continues to purr, leaning into each pet, arching his back and a high vibrating tail. I ended the interaction leaving him with some squeeze up.
ACTIVITY LEVEL:: Moderate
VOCAL:: Quiet
CHARACTER TYPE: : Social,Sweet,Affectionate,People oriented,Curious
POTENTIAL CHALLENGES:: Overstimulation
Potential challenges comments:: Jelly is social and affectionate but appears to be easily overstimulated. As a result of this observed behavior we recommend adopters who are familiar with signs of behavioral arousal and agitation in cats, so that interactions can be ended before Jelly becomes overstimulated. We also recommend fishing pole-type toys for play as they allow for interaction and vigorous, stimulating exercise while keeping human hands at a distance.
BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION: : Level 3
RECOMMENDATIONS:: Adult only home
Recommendations comments:: Adult only home due to overstimulation.
