I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 11/14/2017, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- landlord won't allow.

Someone has already placed a deposit on me. I'm no longer available.

Rose is at risk due to being diagnosed with Canine Upper Respiratory Disease Complex and will likely require home rest and a series of antibiotics for up to 14 days. This is a contagious illness to other dogs.

BAR appropriate mentation Eyes- clear, clean nose - clear, clean ears - red, clean female - intact no injuries noted bleeding from the rectum produced small amount of raspberry jam stool. called on call Vet and alerted her that it looks like HGE. Advised to give metronidazole 15mg/kg BID x 7 days. Gave first dose tonight in food. If eating, can vax. Did not vaccinate, will leave for her to settle, she became head shy. Will be better to everything for intake at once (vax, hwt, dvm exam).

DVM Intake Exam Estimated age: ~3-4 years Microchip noted on Intake? negative History : o/s. Had hematochezia overnight and was prescribed metronidazole by on call vet Subjective: BAR, ~5% dehydrated. No c/v but has frequent small amounts of hematochezia and is straining to defecate with slight puckering of rectum when straining. Is sneezing and has nasal and ocular d/c Observed Behavior - very sweet. Easily handleable. Did well for all medical handling and procedures. Was muzzled for procedures. On DVM intake 11/15 was having multiple episodes of straining and hematochezia-started on LRS, baytril (CIRDC), and dewormer. 11/15: CBC-leukocytosis 38.47 (5.05-16.76) with neutrophilia 32.1 (2.95-11.64), monocytosis 1.25 (0.16-1.12), and basophilia 0.29 (0-0.1), thrombocytosis 677 (148-484) Chem-hyperchloridemia 125 (109-122) Fecal-no ova seen Subjective: BARH. Good appetite. Straining to defecate with hematochezia smeared all over cage. Is sneezing but no coughing. Good prognosis

Recheck hematochezia S/O: Q/BAR. Attention seeking. Clean run. No reports of hematochezia. EENT: Eyes clear, no ocular discharge, very mild serous nasal discharge HL: No coughing or sneezing A: Diarrhea appears to be resolving very well; no signs of CIRDC on exam today P: Continue with current treatment and monitoring plan. Excellent prognosis Notes: During treatments, LVT reported that Rose is well hydrated, eating well and very active. No signs of CIRDC. OK to D/C LRS and move out of isolation.

Resource guarding:: If someone was to touch her food treats or toys she isn't bothered. If someone approaches her house or family member she isn't bothered.
