Animal Profile

Coco

Hello, my name is Coco. My animal id is #249356. I am a desexed female tabby cat at the Queens Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 11 years 1 weeks old.

I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 3/10/2026, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- moving.

Coco is on the at-risk list for medical reasons. Coco is a hyperthyroid cat that has numerous abnormal subcutaneous masses on her abdomen. A biopsy is pending and further recommendations will be made when results are available. Hyperthyroidism will need veterinary follow-up and typically requires oral medication for life, although I-131 radiation can be curative. Behaviorally, Coco has allowed medical handling.
