I came into the shelter as a agency on 1/14/2026.
Sorry, this pet is for new hope partners only.
Pre-Screener FormRocky Boy is at risk due to behavior & medical concerns. Rocky Boy was brought to the Care Centers following a bite incident that resulted in the victim seeking medical attention. During intake, he displayed a wiggly body posture and is neutral throughout kennel visits. Medically, Rocky Boy is receiving treatment for CIRDC but has not been eating his medication consistently. His behavior may preclude appropriate treatment if he does not improve medically.

Summary:: Rocky Boy was brought to the Care centers due to a bite incident that led to the victim seeking medical attention. Due to this incident, Rocky Boy will not get a handling assessment.
Summary (7):: 1/27/26: Rocky Boy is sitting in the back of his kennel, lip licking and wagging his tail. Acs reported that he doesn't want to move over his transfer door. The handler helps by tossing treats through the transfer door, which Rocky Boy quickly follows. 1/21 (Late entry): Rocky Boy is standing at the front of his kennel with a soft body when two handlers approach. He jumps on the kennel door barking as the kennel is unlocked. One handler easily leashes him while the second offers him treats before swapping. Once double-leashed, he is moved to isolation for his CIRDC. He tolerates the leads being clipped and enters the new kennel without issue.
