Fudge
Hello, my name is Fudge. My animal id is #267026. I am a male black kitten at the Queens Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 7 weeks old.
I came into the shelter as a aco - impound on 10/1/2026.
Sorry, this pet is for new hope partners only.
Pre-Screener FormFudge is on the at-risk list due to medical concerns. Fudge is a friendly kitten who came in as a stray. We have assessed that Fudge is missing part of his left hind leg and there is a wound present there that appears chronic. Fudge will need close monitoring of this wound to ensure it is healing appropriate and will require further follow up with outside vet care. If the wound does not heal and/or if Fudge is having trouble getting around, he may need the remainder of his limb amputated. Fudge has allowed all handling and seeks attention during their exams.

ENRICHMENT NOTES:: 10/4/26 FB79 Super shy boy Fudge is under his box curled up and looked up with low eyes when i entered his kennel. He remained still as i spoke to him but when i reached in to lift his box for a better view she hissed harshly with his ears tilting and his eyes squirting. He remained still while watching me closely and hissed again harshly when i placed the treats down. 10/8/26 FB79 Under his box, Fudge boy is laying with his body/face neutral; when i entered he looked up with neutral eyes and leaned forward slightly to sniff the tool that i held out. He started to sniff around when i offered treats and i was able to slowly coax him out a bit as he followed the treat forward. He quickly started to enjoy and allowed me to pet all over his head, cheeks as well as down his back/body with no reaction.
