Someone has already placed a deposit on me. I'm no longer available.

Molly is on emergency placement due to behavioral reasons. She is extremely fearful in the care center. She has to be carried in and out of the building to go outside. Her previous home reports she was shy but was playful with the family in her home. She also lived with a cat that she was playful with as well. Molly had very limited experience with the outside world. Molly would do best in a home environment where she can be slowly exposed to new things. Medically, she is being treated for diarrhea.

We recommend an experienced home with no children due to her high levels of fear. What my friends at ACC say about me: I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some canine body language together! I am really treat motivated. You can use treats to teach me new things! I will need daily physical activity to keep me healthy and happy! I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. Please check here for updated adoption hours.

Details on my behavior are...

Behavior Condition: 2. Blue

Upon intake, Molly was extremely tense and fearful. She was brought in a rolling grocery bag and had urinated and defecated on herself in the bag. She would not come out for toys or treats. I gently tipped the bag and Molly's owner assisted in getting her out. Once out of the bag, Molly stood tense in the middle of the room, trembling. She briefly sniffed around her curiously and would occasionally take a few steps, but remained tense, trembling, with her ears pinned back and pupils dilated. She remained uninterested in treats and toys, even when presented with high value treats. Molly allowed us to place a leash on her and pick her up with a towel, but stayed tense throughout. Did not collar/scan due to fearfulness.
