BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION: : Level 2

BEHAVIOR SUMMARY:: Milo is facing the back of the kennel, but quickly stands up and turns with a mid-level tail, low head and forward ears when the assessor speaks. He’s very sniffly, and when the assessor reaches in for him to sniff their hand, he flinches and backs away slightly. After a few moments, he allows the assessor to pet the top of his head, which he tenses up to with an arched back. However, he remains still, and when pet up his back and around his body, his tail rises and starts to quiver. Milo allows the assessor to briefly pet more on his head and cheeks as he very slightly leans in and allows the assessor to pick him up and place him back down with no issues. He then enjoys high value treats and tolerates more petting. Milo interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
