Animal Profile

Manny

Hello, my name is Manny. My animal id is #18393. I am a desexed male tan dog at the . The shelter thinks I am about 5 years 1 weeks old.

I came into the shelter as a aco impound on 1/16/2018.

Reserved

Someone has already placed a deposit on me. I'm no longer available.

Manny is at risk for medical reasons, having been diagnosed with Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex, which is contagious to other dogs. Behaviorally, Manny is timid, and due to how uncomfortable Manny is currently with touch and novel stimuli, we feel that an adult-only home would be most beneficial at this time.

Let's get to know each other a bit more...

A volunteer writes: I've never met a dingo with short hair, or a dingo period, but I imagine Manny with his magnificent ears and timid nature comes pretty close! He is very, very shy but also very easy to handle and seems so sweet. The first time we met he was soliciting attention from his cage (the first and last time I've EVER heard him make a peep!), I suspect because he was in dire need of relieving himself (he seems very housebroken). He is easy to walk on leash, takes treats nicely, and has warmed up to offer me soft tail wiggles on our walks. He isn't ready for cuddling yet, but does appreciate help scratching his itches and seeks attention in his own quiet way. He's looking for someone to help him navigate this big scary world, love him for the meek Manny he is now, and help carefree-Manny reign victorious in the battle against his nerves...please come see this sweet boy at Brooklyn ACC!

My medical notes are...
