Animal Profile

Cotton

Hello, my name is Cotton. My animal id is #237836. I am a female black cat at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 1 years 3 weeks old.

I came into the shelter as a aco - owner surrender on 9/27/2025, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- hoarding situation.

Cotton is on the at-risk list for medical reasons. She is a young adult cat who is not eating in shelter due to a severe upper respiratory tract infection. We are unable to deliver supportive care in shelter due to her high level of stress. She needs a quiet home to recover.

Let's get to know each other a bit more...

I prefer to take things at my own pace.
