This pet needs emergency placement. Please click here to go to our emergency placement page for more information. Boo is on the at-risk list for medical reasons. Boo is a geriatric cat that has been diagnosed with diabetes mellitus. He will need lifelong insulin administration and will need regular follow-up veterinary care. Behaviorally, Boo is sweet and allows all handling. What my friends at ACC say about me: I have lived with cats in my previous home. I am a sweet, social, older gentleman, looking for the perfect forever home! Boo interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience, demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior. A volunteer writes: Boo came right to the front of his condo as soon as I walked into the room. A one-cat greeting committee chirping out hellos and nuzzling the door, Boo has fantastic manners but his chirps and nuzzles serve a purpose. He's a senior who has to work a little harder, he knows, but more than that, he's always looking to make a friend. Sliding out onto his belly as he reached his paws out toward me, Boo wants to be included and pulls out all the stops. Purrs and cuddles, kneads and cheek rubs, he's every bit the social butterfly as he sweetly checks in and snuggles. Boo was brought to us with another cat and will need some follow up medical care, but he's really hoping for that fresh start that we know should be coming his way.
