Shadow is returned to his kennel safely without any issues. 1/9/26: Shadow is standing in his kennel as handler approaches. He begins to low growl as the handler unlocks the door. He would try to avoid the leash as the handler slowly leashes him. Once leashed, he is able to be toweled and he growls when the handler picks him up. He is then carried outside for walk. ENERGY LEVEL:: We have no history on Shadow so we cannot be certain of their behavior in a home environment. However, they will need daily mental and physical activity to stay engaged and exercised. We recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and hide-and-seek games, in additional to physical exercise, to positively direct their energy and enthusiasm.

Recommendations comments:: No children (under 13): Due to the Behaviors seen in the Care Centers, Shadow should go to a home with older children Place with a New Hope partner: Shadow is highly fearful and should got o a New Hope Partner that can work with his fearful behaviors.

Potential challenges: : Fearful/potential for defensive aggression

Potential challenges comments:: Fearful/potential for defensive aggression: In the Care Centers, Shadow was observed to growl and tense up when staff attempt to interact with him.
