Bingo
Hello, my name is Bingo. My animal id is #241918. I am a desexed male brown brindle dog at the Queens Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 1 years 3 months old.
I came into the shelter as a stray on 11/18/2025.
Sorry, this pet is for new hope partners only.
Pre-Screener FormBingo is on the at-risk list due to behavior concerns. In the care center, Bingo has displayed significant kennel stress and arousal, including persistent jumping, rebounding off kennel walls, hard barking, growling, and baring teeth toward passing staff. He has also been reported to kennel fight when exiting his kennel and to jump toward staff when food is present, with low tolerance for stimulation and difficulty settling once aroused. Medically, Bingo is apparently healthy.

Bingo arrived at the care center as an owner surrender. In the care center, Bingo has displayed arousal concerns in the kennel environment, repeatedly jumping and rebounding off kennel walls, hard barking and growling at passing staff, and baring teeth at the front of the kennel. He has also been reported to kennel fight when exiting his kennel and to jump toward staff when food or treats are present, with difficulty settling once aroused. As a result, we recommend Bingo is placed with one of our New Hope Partners. A volunteer writes: I love Bingo's corkscrew piglet tail, but what I love even more is when he gets so happy it vibrates uncontrollably back and forth! It makes him super pleased when we figure out all the tricks he can do even though he gets a little confused by the cue words. He's especially delighted when he receives a treat in return. Bingo has the most adorable puppy eyes, beautiful brindle coat and a cheery personality. Bingo needed to be rehomed due to moving to a no dog home. He was with the same owner since he was 6 weeks old. He lived with two children who he was friendly and outgoing with. He was noted to be friendly and playful with other dogs and has no experience with cats. Bingo is reportedly partially housetrained, loves baths and car rides, and enjoys playing catch. He likes celery and carrots for snacks. His previous owners favorite thing about him is that he gives hugs and kisses and listens. When asked if he had any behavior concerns, they responded "None! My dog is the best." Unfortunately, Bingo has been struggling in the stressful shelter environment and his behavior has steadily declined. He has been exhibiting stress behaviors like jumping up on his kennel door and barking at passersby from his kennel.
