Cyrus is at risk for medical reasons, being FeLV+. This condition is contagious to other cats. We have not conducted a formal behavior assessment for Cyrus, but he has been easy to handle both on intake and whilst in the shelter.

S/O -QAR, hisses initially when approached but then is docile and affectionate, leans in for head rubs -good appetite when e-collar removed -mm pk, moist -no nasal discharge or sneezing -OU: mild blepharospasm, no d/c, may be behavioral -eupnic -soft abdomen -neuter site healing well with no scrotal erythema or swelling A 1. Felv, doing well post operatively P -HC, okay for transport

ENRICHMENT NOTES:: 1/16/18 Crouched on bedding, stiff, eyes fully dilated. Lay in place when door opened, allowed all pets, then retreated to back with body held, low, hunched down again. 1/17/18 Crouched all the way at back, tense posture, eyes fully dilated. Lay in place when door opened, hissed when offered treats, didn’t eat. Allowed all pets, meow-whined quietly.
