Animal Profile

Katu

Hello, my name is Katu. My animal id is #93203. I am a desexed male brown tabby cat at the Queens Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 15 years old.

I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 12/26/2025, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- hoarding situation.

Katu is on the at-risk list due to medical concerns. Katu is a geriatric cat with kidney disease, dental disease, underweight, and FIV . He would benefit from a rapid shelter exit and a work up with a full service veterinary hospital. So far, Katu has allowed for all handling and treatments during his exams.

I am a sweet, social, older gentleman, looking for the perfect forever home! Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy! I have been known to shower my favorite people in love! I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles! I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.
