Your newly adopted pet IS UNDERAGE and the staff veterinarians are issuing a TEMPORARY waiver from the spay/neuter requirements of the City of NY. Follow up care at your regular veterinarian is recommended to ensure continued treatment through to the resolution of the issue. At the time of a full recovery you may choose to have your veterinarian perform the spay/neuter surgery, or make provisions to return the pet to ACC for sterilization.

Negative History: Stray Subjective: BAR-H, MM pink and moist Observed Behavior - Green; Easy to examine, loose, wiggly, vocal, friendly Is there evidence of suspected cruelty? No Objective: P = ~200 hr R = 32 rr BCS 4/9 EENT: Eyes clear, no nasal or ocular discharge noted; ears with moderate red-brown sandy coffee ground-like debris consistent with ear mites. Oral Exam: Deciduous dentition PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: FI MSI: Ambulatory x 4, no masses noted; multifocal alopecic and crusting skin lesions CNS: Mentation appropriate - no signs of neurologic abnormalities Wood's Lamp: Positive Assessment: -Ringworm - Wood's Lamp positive -Ear Mites - treated Prognosis: Fair Plan: Standard intake tasks for kittens performed -Ears cleaned -Selamectin applied; recommend Selamectin in 1 month -Initiate Ringworm Protocol: --Lyme dips twice weekly x 21 days --Itraconazole 10 mg/kg of 10 mg/ml, 0.6 ml PO SID x 21 days -Weekly Ringworm checks and Ringworm PCR to clear -Recommend New Hope Placement SURGERY: Temporary waiver d/t Ringworm and age

Ringworm check, gaining weight - BAR, no c/s/v/d noted, no ocular or nasal discharge, crusted food on face; eupneic, alopecic/crusted lesions on paws. PLAN: Continue current treatment plan and recheck as scheduled. CTM on rounds.

Upon intake Natalia was very docile and tolerant around counselors allowing all handling such as scanning for microchip, collaring and placing from carrier into kennel. All done without any concerns.
