Your newly adopted pet has been diagnosed with BEING UNDERAGE and the staff veterinarians are issuing a TEMPORARY waiver from the spay/neuter requirements of the City of NY. Follow up care at your regular veterinarian is recommended to ensure continued treatment through to the resolution of the issue. At the time of a full recovery you may choose to have your veterinarian perform the spay/neuter surgery, or make provisions to return the pet to ACC for sterilization.

Recheck URI Did not eat wet food provided overnight. Patient BAR and willingly interacts. Limited vision due to severe ocular crusting/closed eyes. Urination in LB, no defecation noted. BCS 3/9 EENT: Continued severe crusted purulent discharge OU. Once cleaned, severe blepharospasm and chemosis OU. Moderate mucopurulent nasal discharge bilateral nares. Oral Exam: Pink MM, Slightly tacky. A: Underweight Severe URI/conjunctivitis P: Continue supportive care: SQ fluids SID, Ofloxacin eye drops OU, Doxycycline. Clean eyes/nebulize Rx mirtazapine transdermal once 8/7 to stimulate appetite, provide high-value foods. Place on ARL list to extensive medical needs at this time and limited progress overnight on supportive care. Recheck scheduled for 8/8 to assess progress.

Upon intake, kitten was easily collared, scanned, pet, picked up, held, and placed in carrier.
