BEHAVIOR SUMMARY:: 9/19/26 On approach, Pepper is standing right at the front of the cage with a bright and social face and soft body, tail raised high as she waits to greet the assessor. When the cage door us opened, she immediately begins to rub her cheek along the hand offered, and makes biscuits with her front feet. She leans into and appreciates all pets along her head, cheeks, and back with her tail raised high. She continues to appreciate all pets and begins to roll on her side and back enthusiastically with a soft body. She stands and eats the treats offered, allowing the assessor to lift her up and hold her in their arms (remaining careful of her leg mass), and she is calm and comfortable. When returned returned to the cage, she remains at the front and continues to solicit attention. Pepper interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience.
