On 11/25/2024 at approximately 7:30 AM, Cinnamon was examined. The patient has appropriate mentation at this time (no neurological signs present) and has not exhibited any neurological signs while at MACC. Hx: on DOH for biting/scratching a person BAR; hissing and hiding in den eent- no nasal and no ocular discharge hl- clear and eupneic msi- standing and arched back (FAS) neuro- no apparent deficits A) no apparent neuropathy present high FAS behavior P) consider removing from DOH observation

Does not appear to have eaten overnight eent: eyes clear, dried mucoid nasal dc apparent oral: scant drool dried under chin, but improved from yesterday h/l: eupneic, no coughing or sneezing appreciated msi: ambulatory x4 neuro: mentation alert and appropriate A: URI severe on treatment P: FAS may limit treatments possible, but so far has allowed some handling Adding on 0.3ml simbadol sc SID x3d

URI - severe; anorexia: S/O: BAR, unable to handle; hissing, swatting. Wet food appears slightly disturbed in kennel. Mild amount of clear nasal discharge, epiphora; appears to be drooling also. Eupneic. A: Anorexia - continued Very high FAS in shelter Plan: Apply Zorbium today, discontinue Simbadol Apply Mirtazapine transdermal today *Recheck appetite tomorrow; attempt to limit handling to reduce FAS *P on ARL, seek placement out of shelter as soon as possible - P needs a low stress environment to recover from URI and be encouraged to eat
