Animal Profile

Gregorio

Hello, my name is Gregorio. My animal id is #218717. I am a desexed male white cat at the Queens Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 6 years old.

I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 1/15/2025, with the surrender reason stated as animal health - will need ongoing vet care.

Gregorio is on the at-risk list due to medical reasons - Gregorio is an adult male cat with a severe upper respiratory infection. He needs ongoing supportive medical care and a quiet, low-stress environment to recover from his infection.

Let's get to know each other a bit more...

Gregorio is on the at-risk list due to medical reasons - Gregorio is an adult male cat with a severe upper respiratory infection. What my friends at ACC say about me: I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets. I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me. I have lived with cats in my previous home. What do you get when you cross a cat with a couch? A cat-potato! And that's me to a T! Gregorio tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
