January 2024- Pancakes owner states that Pancake has bitten more people - the owner himself, a neighbor, and a friend. The bites were described as without warning and 'came out of nowhere;' the bites were reported to not need medical attention. ENERGY LEVEL:: We have no history on Pancake so we cannot be certain of their behavior in a home environment. However, they will need daily mental and physical activity to stay engaged and exercised. We recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and hide-and-seek games, in additional to physical exercise, to positively direct their energy and enthusiasm.
BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION:: New Hope Only

Potential challenges: : Handling/touch sensitivity,Fearful/potential for defensive aggression,Multiple-bite history/risk of future aggression,Bite history (human)
Potential challenges comments:: Handling Sensitivity/ Fearful Defensive/ Multiple-bite History/ Bite History (Human): Escalating to biting is a behavior that Pancake has rehearsed repeatedly over their life. This behavior is likely to continue as it has become part of Pancake's repertoire, and will need careful management to work toward reducing triggers for Pancake and reducing the resulting bites. Please see handout on Bite History and Potential for Future Aggression. Please see bite history above for more details.
